Statement of Faith

Cheryl Okimoto is an Evangelical Christian. She believes

  • the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.
  • in the Triune God; one eternal God in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the Father, and that He will personally return in power and glory.
  • that the Holy Spirit is the one who brings lost and sinful people to salvation.
  • in the present indwelling ministry of the Holy Spirit who enables Christians to live godly lives.
  • in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved are resurrected to eternal life, the lost to eternal damnation.
  • in the spiritual unity of all who truly belong to our Lord Jesus Christ.
