A Novel Approach to Sexual Purity - This study is based upon "A Novel Approach to Discipleship" but it is specifically designed for anyone, single or married, who wants to learn about godly sexual purity. This is slightly different from the other Novel Approach studies because it only has one study per book. Some of the book studies will have specific questions about sexual purity that you can refer to, but this study only uses one scene per book as the main discussion point. That's not to say that sexual purity is only found in one scene per book. In fact, quite the opposite. Sexual purity is central to all my books so it's very hard to pick just one scene. But if you want to get a full picture of sexual purity, you have to look well beyond keeping your virginity. Sexual purity is still necessary after you get married and it needs to be taught long before a child is forced to make decisions about it, so I've chosen a few scenes to bring out the main points of sexual purity. If you don't mind risking spoilers, you can read the scenes without reading the entire book. In fact, each page contains a link for that scene in a pdf. To get a more in-depth look at sexual purity, read and discuss the entire book.
As with the other Novel Approach studies on this website, the one you'll find here uses my novels not just to teach a topic but also to foster discussion and teach personal Bible study, one of the primary tools any Christian needs to have. This study is best done in a group.
Book questions. Each book has one study. Read the scene together, discuss the questions then explore the Bible together. Finish with an honest discussion about how you can apply what you learned.
