A Novel Approach to Marriage Building - Seasons of Change, Chapter 5
When you get to the questions that are specific about your marriage, make sure you both share! Even if one of you appears to be more spiritually mature than the other, neither of you are perfect yet. You both have room to grow!

Read page 33, from the top, "'I didn't know at ...'" down through the second to last full paragraph "Tim's eyes filled with ..."
Do you understand how Steve and Tim felt when their fathers died? Have you ever had similar feelings?
Do you understand why such feelings are wrong?
Explore what the bible says about our responsibility to others. (Go to the chapter 5 lesson from A Novel Approach for a starting point in your study.)
In your marriage, do you try to take responsiblity for your spouse's actions? Do you try to change him/her? Do you try to take responsibility for things that are outside of your control? What are some of those things? Do you avoid responsiblity for things you can control?
What are specific steps you can take to begin to change? How can your spouse best help you to change?
